Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 06/07/2019

   No reported sales of feeder steers or heifers last week for a market 
comparison. Demand was light as there continues to be some uncertainly about the 
direction of the cattle markets may take this summer and fall. Nebraska feedlots 
sold mostly on Thursday with some sales on Friday. Live sales ranged from 
113.00-115.00 and dressed sales 183.00-186.00. Direct prices are current FOB 
with a 2-3 percent shrink or equivalent, with a 10-25 cent slide on calves and 
8-10 cent slide on feeders from base weight. Delivered prices include freight, 
commissions and other expenses. Current sales are up to 14 days delivery. 
Receipts comprised of 30 percent steers with all over 600 lbs.
